BA/BS in Communication Disorders Sciences and Services

The Bachelor of Science in communication sciences and disorders at Bowling Green State University prepares students for careers helping children and adults with speech, language and hearing disorders, or for work in research and teaching. It also serves as a base for graduate study. Becoming a speech-language pathologist calls for a master's degree, audiologists need a clinical doctorate, and scientists need a Ph.D. Faculty expertise spans audiology, autism, child language, bilingual development, stuttering, brain injury and voice disorders. Students can join undergraduate research, live in a science and health residential community, and complete a capstone that includes guided observation hours. The university also offers a minor in the subject. Prospective students can use the program page to request information, review requirements and find links to tuition and fee details before applying. Reading those pages alongside the university's admission steps helps applicants plan their path and timeline with confidence.
