The Doctor of Pharmacy program at the California Northstate University College of Pharmacy is an accelerated three-year degree based in Elk Grove, near Sacramento. Compressing the usual four years into three allows graduates to enter the workforce or begin postgraduate training sooner. Teaching relies on active learning, including team-based learning, so students work alongside classmates from varied backgrounds.
