Overview

Students in this major build a wide base of business knowledge suited to careers in multinational firms, charities or companies they start themselves. Everyone picks a specialization, and choices include economics, leadership, entrepreneurship, sport management, human resources, and emerging technologies. The curriculum covers accounting in both its financial and managerial forms, economics, commercial law, plus marketing, finance, management, operations, and computational thinking. Instructors arrive with experience from industry and help students meet potential employers. The major is part of the Carroll3 pathway, under which the undergraduate degree takes three years and an MBA follows during the fourth. Minors and internships let students tailor their preparation further. Course lists, faculty profiles and requirements appear on the program page, and an admission counselor can talk through the options.
