Program details

Overview

Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve offers an undergraduate accounting program that prepares students for professional careers with a focus on analytical and communication skills. A Bachelor of Science and a minor are both available. Instructors bring experience as auditors, firm partners, consultants and senior executives, and they use case studies and current events to explore the ethical and technical demands of the profession. Students complete internships, often in major cities such as Chicago, and many take part in study abroad. Campus leadership and honor societies such as Beta Alpha Psi are common among majors. An integrated option lets students earn the B.S. in Accounting together with the Master of Accountancy within a shortened timeline. Course requirements are listed in the General Bulletin.
