MA/MS in Computer and Information Sciences, General

The Master of Science in Computer Science takes a practical approach with active research in artificial intelligence, software engineering, network security, high-performance computing, and human-computer interaction. Study areas run from algorithms and machine learning to bioinformatics, computer vision, and distributed systems. An accelerated master's option exists, and the program is available on campus and online. This graduate program belongs to Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Applicants reach out to the department representative about requirements, then submit an application through the Graduate School. Credit and coursework details are kept in the university general catalog, and financial aid information and assistantship contacts are available through the university and the department. Prospective students may also request more information from the program, and many departments describe their requirements and research strengths on their own websites before the application stage.
