AA/AS in Business Administration, Management and Operations

Business Administration is an Associate in Applied Science program at Columbia Basin College that prepares students for entry-level roles in organizations of many kinds. Students study the core areas of business, including how companies are managed, financed and marketed, and how the law shapes everyday decisions. The degree pairs those technical classes with general education in writing, communication, mathematics and the social sciences, so graduates build both workplace skills and academic breadth. The coursework also relates to the one-year certificate in the same field, allowing a student to earn the shorter credential first and continue toward the degree. It suits people heading straight to work or planning further study. Prospective students should review the catalog page for the full course list and meet with an advisor to plan their sequence of classes.
