This master's degree prepares students to understand personality and human experience and to bring positive change to individuals, families, churches and communities. It also provides the academic preparation needed to seek licensure as a professional counselor.
Students choose from the general track, a Trauma Studies track or a track leading to Applied Behavior Analysis certification. Every track is available entirely online or in a hybrid format that combines online work with evening classes on the St. Davids campus.
The degree requires sixty credits and takes three years full-time or four years part-time, with an accelerated option for strong applicants. Terms begin in August, and part-time students may also start in January. Graduates seek the credentials required to practise as licensed professional counselors in Pennsylvania.
