The Bachelor of Arts in Music builds a base in theory, ear training, history, conducting and lessons on an instrument. A relatively light credit load leaves room for minors, study abroad or additional studies, so students can shape their own path.
Alumni hold jobs in arts administration, composing, running performance venues, touring, accompanying, church music, teaching and the wider music industry.
Students interested in music, music therapy or music teaching audition, and scholarships are linked to auditions. Ensembles, including a symphonic band, are open to students in any major, and a music minor is available. Prospective students can request information, meet the faculty and browse the course catalog from the program page, then follow the college's steps to apply and become a Blue Jay at Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.
