BA/BS in Business/Commerce, General

This concentration sits within the Gabelli School of Business and gives business students a grounding in how national and international economies behave. The emphasis falls on practical use in commerce rather than abstract theory, so learners connect economic forces to the decisions companies and markets face. Coursework comes from the university's economics department, which means the material carries the same academic footing as a standard economics path while being pointed toward business settings. Students can pair the concentration with other business studies. It suits anyone who wants to understand the pressures that move markets and the economic context surrounding every commercial choice, whatever career direction they eventually take. A firm grasp of these ideas helps future professionals read changing conditions and respond sensibly.
