Overview

This certificate helps information technology professionals build the skills needed to move into executive roles that oversee technology resources and strategy. Its topics include enterprise architecture and IT governance, information security management, IT project management, handling technology investments, managing operations and emerging technologies. Courses follow an eight-week session format and can be taken face to face. Graduate standing is required for every business graduate course, so non-degree status is not available, and the courses cannot be audited. Credits earned may count toward a graduate degree under the university's rules for students pursuing certificates alongside master's or doctoral programs. The Costello College of Business publishes full eligibility and admission information, and its Graduate Program Office handles questions. Full course lists, advising contacts and academic policies for the current year are published in the university catalog.
