BA/BS in Mathematics

The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics builds competence in mathematical techniques and a strong sense of quantitative thinking. Students learn to bring a systems perspective to everyday situations and benefit from research and internship opportunities. Concentrations cover applied, discrete and pure mathematics as well as probability with statistics. Students can also add a business option or a research option that culminates in a paper or thesis. The curriculum combines general core classes, technical mathematics courses, technical electives, research and free electives.
