Cert in Culinary Arts and Related Services

This certificate offers a quick route into, or up within, the culinary world. Students train hands-on in a modern kitchen facility, taught by working chefs in classes with few students per instructor. Study covers food services, hotel and restaurant management, and banquet and convention management. All credits apply to the college's accredited Culinary Management AS degree for students who later want to earn that degree. Applicants who have finished high school can enroll, and earlier coursework from regionally accredited schools may give a head start. The college presents itself as an affordable choice, with modest class sizes and faculty who offer individual attention. The program belongs to the Business, Industry, Technology, Manufacturing pathway, where an advisor and a pathway navigator help students plan their studies.
