The Computer Information Systems associate of applied science program gives a broad base in coding, managing information resources, analyzing and designing systems, and databases. It is aimed mainly at students who want to work in information technology after graduating. The degree also transfers into several four-year programs, including computer science and informatics. Students can pick one of three tracks: Programming and Database Management Systems, System and Network Administration, or Web Design and Programming. Online options are available and evening completion is possible. Computer science and mathematics faculty run the program.
