BA/BS in Data Science

The Data Science major develops skill in statistics, data mining and analytics for business so graduates can draw insight from data and shape data-driven strategy. It is a multidisciplinary program blending four areas: stats, math, programming and management. Students are expected to work with data at every stage of an investigation and to communicate well, both in writing and speech, within teams. Declaring the major is done through an online undergraduate program change form once a student is admitted. The university is accredited and belongs to the Minnesota State system.
