Cert in Agricultural Production Operations

This diploma suits students aiming to join the farming and agribusiness sector without delay. Graduates can take roles supporting crop and livestock output, such as grain handling at a local elevator, or run their own operations as hired staff or independent producers. Lessons emphasize how everyday farm decisions tie into broader industry conditions. Required coursework spans animal science, agronomy, soil science, farm records and business analysis, agricultural marketing and pricing, animal nutrition, and machinery management. Electives let students explore horticulture, weed control, precision agriculture, and meat science. A production management internship closes the sequence and places learners inside a working operation. The diploma is taught at the Worthington campus, where the approach blends classroom theory with practical application to real agricultural problems.
