Cert in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technologies/Technicians

This technical diploma trains learners to operate and care for the electrical and electronic devices and instruments commonly found in industry. Coursework centers on troubleshooting, pairing hands-on practice with the circuit theory needed to diagnose problems. Subjects include electric motors, the systems that control them, and programmable logic controllers. Students also meet maintenance applications involving pneumatic and hydraulic power, along with mechanisms and other mechanical devices. Graduates are prepared to assist journeymen electricians and electromechanical technicians with the installation, maintenance and repair of industrial electronic equipment. The page places the program in the manufacturing and science, technology, engineering and mathematics career fields, and it reports a tuition and fees amount alongside a separate books and supplies amount. Starting pay data from an outside source is shown too.
