— it helps other students.
Anyone who wants to begin working in the building trades can start here. This diploma gives learners core skills and plenty of practice for a career in carpentry, covering both homes and commercial structures.
Subjects include estimating and planning jobs, framing walls, building roofs and stairs, trim and finish work, reading blueprints, code requirements, and use of hand tools and portable power equipment. All of the credits move over into the associate degree in carpentry-focused construction management.
Classes are held in the daytime for full-time students at the Green Bay campus. Financial aid is available for the program, and admission advisors help applicants through every stage. Applicants are encouraged to contact admissions advisors, who explain each step of the process and help new students feel prepared.
