PGCert in Marketing

This graduate certificate in marketing is a 15-credit program for professionals from any field who want marketing skills to complement their business knowledge. Core courses cover marketing research, consumer behavior and marketing strategy, and students then choose electives that match their career aims. Evening classes help working adults fit study around other commitments. Full-time students can finish in about eight months and part-time students in a calendar year. The program is taught in an AACSB-accredited school, and credits may be applied toward the Oakland University MBA. Applicants need a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and apply online with a resume and official transcripts. International applicants without a U.S. degree add a transcript evaluation and English test results. Employers in southeast Michigan regularly advertise marketing positions, many requiring experience or an advanced degree.
