The Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Point Park University prepares graduates for the CPA exam and for careers across banking, small business, sports and government. Students can study on campus in downtown Pittsburgh, near large corporations and major accounting firms, or take the program fully online. Faculty have industry backgrounds and use real-world scenarios and case studies in class. Average class size stays small, which supports personal attention, and students can complete accounting internships for practical experience. The program also gives students credit toward the university's MBA, making it possible to finish an MBA and the credit total usually needed for CPA licensure in five years. A post-baccalaureate accounting option is available for those who already hold a degree.
