BA/BS in Psychology, General

The Bachelor of Science in Psychology builds knowledge of human behavior along with skills useful in nearly any career, including statistical literacy, scientific reasoning, writing and collaboration. Graduates enter areas such as education, sales, marketing, social work, analytics and administration, and the degree also prepares students for graduate and doctoral study. An early course, Psychology as a Science and Career, introduces the major and begins professional planning. Students gain experience through internships in social services, research and behavioral health clinics. They may conduct research, present it at regional conferences and publish findings. Outcomes include designing basic psychological research, applying ethical standards and communicating through writing and presentations. Teaching is grounded in scientifically supported methods. Prospective students can request information or apply through the university admissions office, which also publishes tuition details and transfer guidance.
