AA/AS in Business Administration, Management and Operations

The Business Transfer program at Springfield Technical Community College is for students who plan to finish a bachelor's degree in business at another school. The two-year course of study awards an Associate in Science with a business administration subject. It was written to satisfy the MassTransfer A2B pathway used by Massachusetts public colleges and the University of Massachusetts system. It also matches transfer expectations at institutions accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Students get a wide academic foundation that pairs liberal arts study with core business subjects, and only afterward choose an area of business in which to specialize. Depending on which electives are selected, a student can complete the entire program online. The program also qualifies for the Commonwealth Commitment. The college posts more information about transfer options on its website, and the program page includes the curriculum checklist, goals, personnel, and salary and job trend resources.
