AA/AS in Graphic Communications

This program trains students for work in graphic design, including typography, page layout, digital preparation of files for printing, publishing, packaging and websites. It also covers technical support for Apple computers used in design studios. Graduates can set up as independent designers or compete for beginning positions as designers, print production technicians or web designers. The degree is a good fit for students who want credit that can move to a bachelor's program, and it covers more ground than the one-year certificate.
