MA/MS in Communication Disorders Sciences and Services

This master's degree in speech-language pathology can be completed in about two years and prepares graduates to assess, diagnose and treat spoken language, social interaction, thinking-and-communication and swallowing problems across all ages. Practicum placements give students applied experience. Two formats exist. The on-campus option meets in the evenings at the Denton and Dallas campuses, with practicum several days each week and cohorts starting in summer or fall each year. The distance education option has schools-focused and healthcare-focused tracks, uses regional service centers and live webinars, and admits cohorts every other year.
