BA/BS in Computer Engineering

Students in this major work on the digital hardware, networks and production software behind everyday technology. Focus areas include designing computer systems, mobile and embedded devices, sensor networks, adaptable logic circuits, software engineering and machine intelligence. The curriculum compares speed against hardware, software and energy cost for every kind of machine, from handheld embedded gadgets and small sensor nodes to supercomputers. Faculty are active researchers, and undergraduates can join their projects. The degree totals one hundred twenty credit hours.
