The Master of Accounting comes in three forms: with an auditing emphasis, with a tax emphasis, or without any emphasis.
Students who already hold an undergraduate accounting degree can complete the traditional one-year route. A recommended five-year 3/2 path instead grants the undergraduate accounting degree and the master's degree jointly.
Applicants submit a GMAT score and essays, and international applicants must also provide English proficiency results. Many graduate courses run only once a year, so early advising is advised.
Admissions also consider minimum GPA standards, which are published on the business college's master of accounting requirements page. Combination-degree students complete a 150-hour program that awards both credentials together, entering at the start of the senior year. Early advisement is recommended because of course scheduling.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Acceptable GMAT score (minimum 550) and essays scoring at least 4; international students need TOEFL iBT 100 or IELTS 7.0 overall, with minimum section scores.
