This master's program is built for practising teachers who have already finished some graduate credit and need a master's degree for credentialing. Everything is delivered online, in short courses of about eight weeks. Teachers can bring in credits from accredited universities in content areas such as communications, economics, English, history, political science, Spanish and French. The remaining courses focus on instructional practice that supports equity, agency and student identity, taught by experienced faculty and practitioners. The degree can be finished in three semesters, covering fall, winter and summer. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in their content area, a current teaching license and a minimum undergraduate GPA, and they must hold or be completing the required graduate credits, including those taken through Teach Dual Credit Indiana if applying for a scholarship.
