MA/MS in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies, Other

The University of Louisville offers the Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies through its academic units. The program offers faculty-designed concentrations that cross departmental boundaries; students cannot propose individualized degrees. Coursework and degree requirements are laid out in the university's academic catalog, which students use to plan their studies with an advisor. The catalog entry lists the required courses and outlines how the program fits within the wider college or graduate school. Advisors help students sequence courses sensibly across terms and keep progress on schedule. Applicants follow the Graduate School application process. Prospective students should consult the catalog and the responsible department for current details on application steps, deadlines and expectations, since requirements can change from one catalog year to the next.
