PhD in Computer Science

The computer science doctoral program features research with faculty and an interdisciplinary, collaborative atmosphere. Most graduate students are admitted on an MS/PhD track, which means they work toward the doctorate and earn a master's degree on the way. In the early stage, students pursue the master's while assembling a portfolio, and both are doctoral requirements. Applicants who already hold a master's degree from an accredited university usually enter the PhD-only track. The college offers a broad curriculum for advanced degrees. Advisors guide students through research toward the portfolio and dissertation, and the page highlights the faculty's international standing and the program's collaborative character within the college. Students should note that the application date posted on the page refers to an earlier cycle.
