PGCert in Public Administration

This graduate certificate introduces the core principles of public management in the context of public policy. It is meant for people who already hold a bachelor's degree and want to build skills for leading in government or related organisations. The certificate is offered completely online. Applicants submit college transcripts, proof of a four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent, a short statement of purpose and a resume. Finishing the certificate waives the GRE requirement for the online Master of Public Policy. Credits earned can serve as a stepping stone toward the master's degree for students who decide to continue. The program is delivered entirely online through UMass Dartmouth Online, so working adults can study without relocating, and applicants use the online admissions process with their prior college transcripts.
