Overview

The Social Work MSW carries accreditation from the national social work education council (CSWE). This page serves students who have not completed an undergraduate social work degree; those with one are directed to the advanced standing option. Full-time students typically finish in two academic years, while part-time study takes four. The part-time program meets in a hybrid format with in-person Saturday sessions and may allow fieldwork in the student's home community. Focus areas include child, youth and family welfare and mental health. Students may also choose a focus area, and both the traditional and advanced standing routes are offered in the part-time program. Field education forms a core part of training, and applicants must satisfy the school's admission requirements.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Applicants must meet School of Social Work admission requirements; this page is for students without a BSW.
