PhD in Chemistry

The chemistry doctorate involves research spanning chemical biology and the main branches of chemistry. Admitted students receive full funding with tuition and fee waivers and health insurance. The degree needs seventy-two credit hours, seven lecture courses, cumulative exams and a defense before a faculty committee. This program is housed in the university's chemistry department and taught at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, a city in the Rocky Mountain region of the western United States. The official page links to course lists, cost details and department contacts, and prospective students can ask for information or begin an application through the university's online admissions channels. Small cohorts and direct faculty contact are common across the institution's academic units, which helps newcomers settle in and find mentors early.
