MA/MS in Computer Engineering

The Master of Science in Computer Engineering is administered jointly by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering. Students are expected to have finished, tested out of, or complete at the start an introductory programming course and a digital logic and computer design course. The degree totals thirty units. A majority must come from designated graduate-level computer engineering courses, and a limited number of units may be taken outside the two departments if the department approves them as suitably technical. Students who need guidance on which outside courses qualify contact the graduate coordinator. The page also notes that some course numbers changed in the most recent fall term and lists the earlier numbers in parentheses.
