Overview

This graduate certificate introduces the principles of bioethical reasoning and shows how they apply to medicine, law, and public policy. It is built for people already working in health care who want stronger credentials, as well as for students exploring new professional directions. The certificate is made up of four semester-long courses delivered online. A full-time student can finish in about a year, while others spread the work over as many as three years. Teaching is handled by the university's full-time faculty, who all hold doctorates, and a few also hold law degrees.
