The cellular and integrative physiology doctorate gives students a broad background with in-depth understanding of all the main areas of physiology. Physiology is a foundational medical science investigating the mechanisms controlling normal body function, from individual components to their interactions across the whole organism.
Faculty interests cover most major physiological sciences, and modern physiology draws on molecular biology, cell physiology and organ-level function as well as coordinated control of the body. The program is offered through the School of Medicine.
Each graduate program sets its own admission terms and deadlines, and applicants may apply only for the terms the program lists. Questions about timing go to the program representative, and the university's graduate admissions site describes how to apply and what international applicants must add to their file.
