π Southeast Asia: ASEAN Credit Transfer System (ACTS) Estimator
Convert academic credits between AUN-member universities using the official AUN-ACTS workload benchmark (60 credits = 1 full academic year, 1 credit = 25β30 hours).
Estimated ACTS Credits
ACTS mobility is capped at a maximum of two academic semesters (60 ACTS credits).
How the ACTS Estimator Works
The official AUN-ACTS benchmark. Per the ASEAN University Network specification, one full-time academic year equals 60 ACTS credits (30 per semester, 20 per trimester). One ACTS credit represents 25β30 hours of total student workload β lectures, tutorials, lab time, private study, and assessment combined.
Conversion formula. Your transferable ACTS credits are calculated as (Home Credits / Home Annual Full-Time Load) Γ 60. The workload range is cross-checked against the 25β30 h/credit corridor so that under- or over-loaded home credits trigger an audit warning.
Mobility cap. AUN-ACTS exchanges are limited to a maximum of two academic semesters (β 60 ACTS credits). If your conversion exceeds this cap, the home university must instead seek bilateral articulation rather than ACTS.
Grading. ACTS does not impose a single common letter grade β each member university issues a Transcript of Records using its own scale, and the home institution decides the final credit recognition based on the AUN-QA framework.
