ENSATT, the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts et Techniques du Theatre, is a French national drama and stagecraft school based in Lyon.

It trains students for the performing arts across ten courses: acting, performing arts administration, costume workshop, costume design, lighting design, sound design, technical direction, dramatic writing, directing and scenography. The school awards the Arts et Techniques du Theatre diploma, which carries the grade of Master and is registered at level 7 in the national RNCP register.

The initial course lasts three years and is open by competitive entrance exam to candidates holding at least two years of higher education, while professionals can follow a one-year route after an entrance examination. Pathways are designed to work together, so costume designers, workshop specialists, set designers, lighting and sound students collaborate on the productions staged by the school.

The school reports a professional integration rate of 100 percent for its costume workshop graduates, working as freelance performers' staff or on fixed-term and permanent contracts.

ENSATT also offers short professional training courses in administration, technical direction, costume, lighting, sound and scenography for people already working in live performance. International cooperation includes mobility placements in Brussels and joint projects such as the Lyon and Cairo scenography workshop.

Teaching is in French.
