INSA Centre Val de Loire is a public institute that trains engineers and landscape architects.

It is part of the INSA Group and has two campuses, in Blois and Bourges, where students are placed at the centre of societal and territorial challenges. Research is organised around six laboratories, and the institute stresses scientific excellence together with openness to diversity, shown in its large number of scholarship holders and international students.

Entry to the first year is by the joint INSA Group competition, with French baccalaureate holders applying through Parcoursup and holders of foreign diplomas through the INSA Group admissions website. Later years can be joined from preparatory classes, university or technical diplomas, or a master's degree.

Engineering courses are taught in French, and the Global INSA first year gives international applicants a route with 70 percent of teaching in English, small tutorial groups, French as a foreign language classes, a summer school and personal guidance.

Special tracks let students combine their studies with elite sport, music, dance and theatre, or visual arts. Students then choose specialisations such as industrial risk control, information technology and cybersecurity, or industrial systems engineering.

Campus life includes graduation ceremonies, industry events and open campus days that show student projects.
