Created in 1970 as the result of the merger of three schools: the École supérieure de brasserie, de malterie et de biochimie appliquée de la faculté des sciences de Nancy (1892), the Dairy Ecole de laiterie de la faculté des sciences de Nancy (1905) and the Ecole nationale supérieure agronomique de Nancy (1910)
