The Institut national d'enseignement supérieur et de recherche en alimentation, santé animale, sciences agronomiques et de l'environnement acquired present title following the merger of the École nationale vétérinaire de Lyon (ENVL), the École nationale d'ingénieurs des travaux agricoles de Clermont-Ferrand (1984) and the École nationale des services vétérinaires (ENSV), 1973. Member of COMUE Université de Lyon – Modified Decree n° 2015-127 of February 5, 2015.
