Overview
Founded 1930 as Dnipropetrovsk Institute of Railway Transport Engineers, became Dnipropetrovsk State Technical University of Railway Transport in 1993, became a National university in 2002 and acquired the name of Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V.
Lazaryan. Acquired current title in 2021 following merger with National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine (Nacional’na metalurhijna akademija Ukrajiny - IAU-022718)
