MA/MS in Physical Education & Sports Teacher

The Professional Master in Physical Education and Sports Teaching aims to prepare students in two ways, as teachers of physical education and sport and as professionals in fields connected with children's movement and motor education. The study programme offers students knowledge not only of education but also of coaching children in different sports. Graduates who complete the programme can find work as teachers of physical education and sport in basic and upper secondary schools, including gymnasiums and vocational schools. The page links to the study plan in PDF format and sets out the employment options in more detail, which makes it a useful reference for students who want to teach the subject at school level. Combining the teaching qualification with a grounding in the sports training of children lets graduates work both in the classroom and with young people in sport.
