The Master in Law lets graduates of the Bàtxelor in Law broaden their knowledge and build on the competencies and skills gained during their first degree, with a double aim: specialising for a range of legal professions, or continuing on to doctoral study. It is aimed at students with a prior background in law who want to deepen their knowledge of the field, whether to practise in the public or private sector, with both a national and international outlook.
The study plan offers two specialisations, a track in advocacy for access to the legal profession in Andorra, and a track in the judiciary, for future roles such as judge, prosecutor, magistrate or court clerk, as well as a generalist pathway or a dual-specialisation pathway. The programme covers 120 European credits and is delivered online in collaboration with the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC); completing it gives access to third-cycle (doctoral) studies across the European Higher Education Area.
