Kingdom University's College of Information Technology runs the MSc in Computer Science as an advanced-level program for graduates of computer science, information technology, engineering and related fields who want deeper expertise and a path toward academic, industry or research-focused careers. Students pick one of two tracks partway through: Artificial Intelligence, covering intelligent systems, machine learning and related emerging technology, or Cybersecurity, focused on network security, data protection and defending digital systems. For those drawn to research, the university positions the degree as a step toward doctoral study or academic posts; for others, it points to industry certifications, naming IBM's Applied AI credential or Amazon's machine-learning specialty badge for AI-track graduates, and the CISSP or CompTIA Security+ for those on the cybersecurity side, as routes into roles like AI engineer or cybersecurity analyst. Completing the degree needs 30 credit hours and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, taught in English and delivered on-campus; the program can run in as little as 1.5 years or as long as 4, depending on pace.
