The software engineering MSc at the International University of Sarajevo is the second-cycle step for students who already hold a bachelor's degree. The programme lasts one year and is worth 60 ECTS credits; together with the first cycle, the combined workload reaches 300 ECTS credits.
It is intended for graduates who wish to deepen their expertise in software and strengthen their prospects in the job market. Eligibility covers holders of a first-cycle degree as well as people who studied under the older regulations that applied before the Bologna reforms, subject to the study rules for the second cycle.
Admission follows a public call announced in line with the Law and the university statute. Foreign citizens can apply in advance of that call, which helps them secure residency permits and satisfy language conditions.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission to the second cycle is run through a public call published under the national Law and the university Statute. Graduates of a completed first-cycle (bachelor's) programme are eligible, as are graduates of studies organised before the Bologna reforms, under the conditions in the Study Rules for the second cycle. Citizens of other countries may send a preliminary application before the official call so that they can obtain residency permits and meet language requirements before lectures begin.
