Requirements

Admission Requirements: This programme's own admission page (Arts, lettres et communication, Langues profile) states no subject-specific prerequisites, only that applicants must meet the Cégep's general admission conditions, so the requirements below are those general DEC entry conditions as published on the institution's admission page. Quebec applicants need a Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES) and apply through SRAM (Service régional d'admission du Montréal métropolitain), one application per round for one programme at one SRAM college, with a CAD 30 fee; no further courses are listed for this profile. International candidates also apply through SRAM (CAD 85 per request, 4-6 week decision) for the Fall session only, and must supply a birth certificate, secondary transcripts and diplomas, and proof of French proficiency, which the college sets at a minimum score of 3.7 on the Test Bright français or another SRAM-recognized French test. After admission, international students need a CAQ, a study permit and health insurance; for Fall 2026 the international deadline was March 14, 2026, with a January 15 cutoff for tuition-exemption and scholarship eligibility.

Application Details

Start Date: Fall and Winter
Application Deadline: Domestic applicants apply through SRAM (Service régional d'admission du Montréal métropolitain), paying a $30 per-application fee: Fall 2027 entry's equal-consideration date is 1 March 2027, with further rounds around late April and late May while seats remain, while Winter 2027 entry opened 15 September 2026 with a 1 November 2026 equal-consideration date and a late-November second round. Cégep de Saint-Jérôme's own international-admissions page describes a five-step process and a 4-6 week review period but sets no fixed opening or closing date, directing applicants to SRAM instead, whose system-wide window for Fall 2027 international entry runs 15 March 2026 to 14 March 2027.
