Arts, Letters and Communication - Languages Diploma

Arts, Letters and Communication - Languages is a two-year pre-university diploma (DEC) combining the general Arts, Letters and Communication curriculum with a languages concentration. Students deepen their knowledge of English, study linguistics and translation, and are introduced to Spanish and German before pursuing one of these two languages further. The programme also covers the study of different cultures and civilizations connected to the languages taught, using dedicated language laboratories. Students complete an individual project to conclude the programme. The diploma prepares students for university studies in languages, linguistics, translation, or international studies. It is delivered over two years of full-time study and is one of three streams offered under the college's Arts, Letters and Communication programme, alongside separate Creative Writing and Theatre concentrations.
