Two electric vehicle courses covering high voltage systems, safety and components have been added to the curriculum. Because the curriculum follows the Truck and Coach Technician apprenticeship standards, the programme meets the requirements for Level 1 and Level 2 in-school apprenticeship training, and graduates can work in repair facilities as apprentices, in administrative or managerial roles, or with parts departments and suppliers.

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or mature-applicant status at 19 or older. Applicants need Grade 12 English at the C or U level or equivalent, or Centennial's own English Admission Test in its place, plus Grade 11 Mathematics at the M or U level or Grade 12 Mathematics at the C or U level or equivalent, or the College's Engineering Math Skills Assessment. The program page states English-language proficiency is required but defers to Centennial's institution-wide policy; for certificate and diploma admission that sets a minimum IELTS Academic score of 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 67 (Reading at least 16, Writing at least 23), PTE Academic 51 or higher, Duolingo 105-114, CAEL 60 overall, or iTEP 3.7 or higher. Personal protective equipment is required for lab work, and the optional co-op stream additionally requires completion of semester one, a minimum 2.5 GPA, and legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Application Deadline:Centennial publishes no application deadline for this program; what follows is the Ontario college cycle that governs it. Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca: for a program starting in Fall 2027 the equal-consideration date is 1 February 2027, and applications arriving after it are still assessed, but first-come first-served while places remain. Across the Ontario college system the application opened on 26 September 2026, offers may be issued from 1 November 2026, and an offer must be accepted by 1 May 2027. One $150 fee covers up to five program choices. International applicants apply directly to Centennial through its own international application process and are assessed on a rolling basis across the Fall, Winter and Summer intakes; the college publishes no fixed international closing date.
