Collège Lionel Groulx offers Diploma in Sciences, lettres et arts, a diploma in Liberal Arts programme in Sainte-Thérèse, Canada. The programme runs for 2 years. Teaching is in French. Tuition for international students is CAD 15,150 per year (CAD 3,740 per year for local students).
Sciences, lettres et arts is a two-year pre-university DEC at Collège Lionel-Groulx, with fall admission and no enrollment cap. The program combines scientific rigour with creative study across natural science, social science, humanities, and the arts, and is designed to provide the prerequisites needed for nearly all university programs. Admission requires the college's general conditions plus specific prerequisites in mathematics (TS or SN, 5th year, or 536) and in chemistry and physics (5th year, or 534 in each). Coursework aims to help students see connections across disciplines, recognize the contributions of science, literature, and the arts to society, analyze phenomena and carry out research projects that draw on multiple fields, and work collaboratively. According to the college, the diploma opens access to a wide range of capped university programs, among them administration, several sciences, engineering, several health professions, law, and the humanities. The program suits students with strong intellectual curiosity, an analytical and research-oriented mind, discipline in their studies, and an interest in exploring several academic domains rather than specializing early in a single one.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission follows Collège Lionel Groulx's general admission conditions: a Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES); a Diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP) plus fifth-secondary French, fifth-secondary second language and fourth-secondary mathematics; training the College judges equivalent; or training and experience the College judges sufficient, with at least 24 cumulative months outside full-time study. The programme carries no enrolment cap (aucun contingentement), and applications go through SRAM.
Application Details
Start Date:September
Application Deadline:Domestic applicants apply through the Service régional d'admission du Montréal métropolitain (SRAM) at admission.sram.qc.ca: the college's own admission page states an equal-consideration date of 1 March for Fall entry and 1 November for Winter entry, which for the 2027 cycle fall on 1 March 2027 (Fall) and 1 November 2026 (Winter), with Winter 2027 applications opening 15 September 2026. Collège Lionel-Groulx does not publish a dedicated international-admissions page of its own; international applicants would follow SRAM's system-wide window, published as 15 March 2026 to 14 March 2027 for Fall 2027 entry, though the college has not confirmed this itself.
