The Medical Radiography Technology Diploma prepares you to work in the following areas: in the hospital medical imaging department, at the patient's bedside, in the operating room or Emergency department, and in private imaging clinics. Earning a diploma in medical radiography technology is a base for other certifications, such as advanced radiography certifications and specialized BSc and health administration degrees. These additional qualifications are a key component of health care service.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: High school graduation or equivalent, with Anatomy and Physiology 12 (or BIO 050), English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12, ENGL 050 or ENGL 051, Foundations of Math 12 (or equivalent), and Physics 12 or PHYS 050 (or equivalent), maintaining a GPA of 3.0 ("B") with no grade lower than C+. Non-native English speakers need TOEFL iBT 88+ (no section below 20, within 2 years), IELTS Academic 6.5+ overall (no band below 6.0, within 2 years), or six post-secondary English credits from an English-speaking institution. Also requires career-investigation completion, an information-session, MRAD 100 (Medical Radiography Terminology), proof of immunization, CPR Level C/BLS, N95 fit testing, and a provincial Schedule B criminal record search through the Criminal Records Review Program (RCMP criminal record checks are not accepted).

Application Deadline:College of New Caledonia runs first-qualified, first-accepted admissions with no single deadline for most programmes. Domestic and international applicants use the same process, though international students also go through CNC's international application page: applications for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 entry are open now, and applications for Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 entry open on 1 October 2026. Seats are assessed on a rolling basis and close once a programme fills or the term begins; CNC advises applying as soon as applications open, and international applicants typically get an offer letter within four to six weeks. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program) and the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Diploma are exceptions, each carrying a fixed 1 March application-and-documentation deadline. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
