Requirements

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent) including Grade 12 English at the College or University (C/U) level, or an equivalent Mature Student Assessment, GED, or Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) credit. Applicants must also complete Grade 12 Math (College or University), Grade 11 or 12 Physics (College or University), and Grade 11 or 12 Biology or Chemistry (College or University), each with a minimum final grade of 75% (a 75% midterm and final mark is required if a course is still in progress). Selection is competitive and scored on high-school grades with the 75% minimum (70% of the score), a completed Program Choice Questionnaire (25%), and work or volunteer experience (5%), supported by two reference letters. Priority consideration goes to complete applications with transcripts received by February 1 and full packages submitted by February 12. This program is not currently open to international applicants, so no English-proficiency test is specified. Applicants short of the entry requirements are directed to Confederation's Pre-Health Sciences pathway, which requires a minimum 75% each semester and does not guarantee later admission.
